Best Rust PvE servers

This is every online Rust server that publishes the PvE tag, busiest first by players now. Players cannot damage each other or each other's bases, so the threat is the map: animals, scientists, NPC events and the odd turret. Sort by Players for activity, or by Next wipe if you want a fresh map.

PvE servers mostly wipe monthly, with a smaller set on biweekly. A monthly server gives four weeks before the next force wipe; biweekly resets sooner if you lose interest. Read the Next wipe column before you commit, and note whether the wipe time is in UK time (UTC). Many rows are also modded, with plugins for events, decay or quality of life, and a few carry both the vanilla and PvE tags. The tag does not say whether a server runs PvP in a zone or on a separate grid, so check the server's page if that matters. Population is live: sort by Players, then look at the history on the server page to see whether it holds through the week or empties after wipe day.

A tag alone does not describe a server. This list draws only on servers that publish the PvE tag, so one that runs PvE rules without setting the tag will not appear. Use the filter to narrow by name, tags or region. Region matters: EU servers dominate this list, so their evenings feel busiest, and a row that publishes US or AU will fill at different hours. If you want no player combat at all but a low-mod count, filter for vanilla and check the Tags column for modded. If you want enemies to fight, zombie servers often run PvE. For the schedule behind every reset, see the force wipe page. New to the game? Servers for beginners covers the quieter starts.
